Keeping GradMap Up to Date: Clear Your Browser Cache

At GradMap, we’re always working to improve your experience with new features, design updates, and performance enhancements. Sometimes, your browser may hold on to older versions of our pages (called a “cache”), which can prevent you from seeing the latest updates.

We recommend clearing your browser’s cached images and files to ensure GradMap works smoothly and you view the newest version.

Tip: GradMap works best on Google Chrome, so use Chrome whenever possible for the best experience.


How to Clear Cached Images and Files

Google Chrome (Recommended)

  1. Open Chrome.

  2. Click the ⋮ (More) menu in the top-right corner.

  3. Select More ToolsClear Browsing Data.

  4. Choose a time range (we suggest All time for a full refresh).

  5. Check Cached images and files only.

  6. Click Clear data.


Safari (Mac)

  1. Open Safari.

  2. From the top menu, click SafariPreferences (or Settings).

  3. Go to the Privacy tab.

  4. Click Manage Website Data….

  5. Either select Remove All or search for “gradmap” to remove just our cache.

  6. Confirm by clicking Remove Now.


Firefox

  1. Open Firefox.

  2. Click the ≡ (Menu)Settings.

  3. Select Privacy & Security.

  4. Scroll to Cookies and Site DataClear Data….

  5. Check Cached Web Content only.

  6. Click Clear.


Microsoft Edge

  1. Open Edge.

  2. Click the ⋮ (More) menu → Settings.

  3. Select Privacy, search, and services.

  4. Under Clear browsing data, click Choose what to clear.

  5. Select a time range.

  6. Check Cached images and files only.

  7. Click Clear now.


✅ Once you’ve cleared your cache, reload GradMap to enjoy the newest updates!
